Nuriye Özlem Özcan Şimşek
Özlem Şimşek graduated as a computer engineer from METU. She worked in the industry for years. In the meantime, she completed her master's degree at Bogazici University. Recently, she received her PhD from Computer Engineering at Bogazici University.
Research Interests
Her research field is the accurate prediction of diseases and disease-gene assotiations by using machine learning techniques on genomic data. This field is the future of health care and genomic treatments.
