🔹 Finding Protein Language Units using Evolutionary Protein-Oriented Subword Tokenization Methods

This work explored protein-specific subword tokenization approaches inspired by evolutionary and structural patterns, aiming to identify functionally meaningful language units within protein sequences.

🔹 Protein Function Prediction using Graph Neural Networks with Substructure Hierarchy

Presented by Gökçe Uludoğan, Ph.D. student

This poster introduced a novel GNN-based framework for modeling protein structures through hierarchical substructures, enhancing function prediction by better aligning structural and functional organization.
