PUFFIN Accepted in Bioinformatics

We are delighted to share that our paper, “PUFFIN: Protein Unit Discovery with Functional Supervision,” by Gökçe Uludoğan, Buse Giledereli, Elif Özkırımlı, and Arzucan Özgür, has been accepted for publication in Bioinformatics as a full ISMB 2026 conference paper.

PUFFIN introduces a graph-based framework that learns structurally coherent, function-aware protein units from 3D protein structures. The paper was published in the ISMB 2026 supplement of Bioinformatics.
